CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
Under the theme The Sustainability Puzzle – making the pieces fit, the conference will tackle the sustainability options for the design, construction, inspection and management of concrete bridges and explore the question; how does bridge engineering respond to the modern, post-carbon world?
If you have a topic to present, we´ d like to hear from you.
Suggested topics for presentation include:
- the circular economy
- decarbonisation and net zero carbon
- adaptation to climate change
- modular concrete construction
- optimal structural shape and form
- digital design/construction/inspection
- design efficiencies through enhanced inspection
- case studies and project solutions
Please provide an abstract by the 18th February 2022. This must include a title and outline content (maximum 150 words). Presentations are typically expected to be 25-35 minutes plus Q&A. Following acceptance, the presentation in PowerPoint format will be required in advance of the conference.
