Engineering Council

The Institute of Concrete Technology is proud to be a Professional Affiliate of the Engineering Council (EngC), the UK regulatory body for the engineering profession which sets and maintains internationally recognised standards of professional competence and ethics.

This affiliation allows members of the Institute, via our joint membership arrangement with awarding body the Society of Operations Engineers (SOE), to be assessed for inclusion in the register for engineers and engineering technicians held by EngC. Registration allows members to use the appropriate designation, depending on grade, from Chartered Engineer to Incorporated Engineer and Engineering Technician. These designations demonstrate agreed levels of competence and professionalism that are accepted both in the UK throughout the world.
